From bank building to vibrant city village
An ambitious redevelopment project of international appeal, with reuse, sustainability, mixed-use and an open connection to the city at its core. The existing towers will be stripped to the bone, rebuilt and supplemented with new buildings. In total, there will be 165,000 m² of office space, around 300 homes (120 of which will be social housing), medical and cultural facilities, catering establishments, and plenty of space for greenery. A neighbourhood in development, right in the business heart of Amsterdam. Even popularly referred to as a 'Zudo' (Zuidas Village).
Our team is currently involved with Mahler 1, which will be the first building in this beautiful part of Amsterdam of the future. Mahler 1 is a project by Icon Real Estate, part of Victory Group in collaboration with developer Log Mean Temperature Difference, architects' office 3XN/GXN en Erik Dhont Landscape Architects.
