Last week, our 50% participations at vb&t Project Management, vb&t Fire Safety and vb&t Development were added to the vb&t Group as fully-fledged 100% subsidiaries, and Arthur Botman and Sander Scheepers have joined as shareholders in vb&t Group.
The origins of these participations lie with the vb&t Project Management business unit, which was founded in 2001 (so exactly 25 years ago this year). Fred Boekhorst (still active as Senior Project Manager at vb&t) started the company together with vb&t Group in a 50/50 relationship. Between 2016 and 2019, Arthur Botman and Sander Scheepers gradually took over Fred Boekhorst's shares. In 2024, Arthur and Sander also became shareholders in vb&t Fire Safety for 50%. A company that had also been initiated by Fred Boekhorst in 2016 (i.e. exactly 10 years ago). In partnership with Jeroen Peeters, vb&t Development will operate from 1 January 2026.
Arthur and Sander will continue to manage the aforementioned companies and will also take on this role at VvEco. This vb&t company, which currently has a team of approximately 30 colleagues dedicated daily to making existing properties more sustainable, particularly VVEs. The management team of VvEco will further consist of Martijn van de Kam, Maickel Donkers and Inge Visser.
With the aforementioned change, we are implementing a significant simplification in our organisational structure. A change that further deepens our vision for continued service integration through collaboration, knowledge sharing and development, and strongly positions vb&t as a service provider in real estate and housing. vb&t currently has approximately 380 colleagues, all experts in one of the specialist fields within our service range. We continuously look for opportunities and developments to further grow and innovate. The integration of these participations into 100% Group companies is an important part of this.
